Geothermal heat pumps transfer energy from the ground which is consistently 50°F and transfer this energy into the home. The heat is moved from one place to another. As this energy is transferred into the refrigerant loop of the system, it is compressed which increases the temperature to about 100 to 114°F. The loop system can be "closed loop" where an antifreeze solution is pumped through the loop which runs down the well, to the heat pump and back to the well. "Open loop" systems use water to pump through the heat pump. We have had special training and certification to properly install the best system for your job. |
